Khakis No Longer Uppity
Every silk twill tie Ray wore this week showed how excited he is about our new boss. Ray likes to dress up for work, but doesn’t want to look nicer than the person he reports to. With Philip, that meant that some days khakis were rude. But now with Earl’s preference for three-piece suits (who knew that vests were still in play?), Ray’s entire closet is finally available to him.
The other thing about the two of them is that facial hair is constantly in flux. Half-filled goatees one day, clean shaves the next, clearly defined patches of one size or another on the fifth. There’s no pattern to it that I can see. Will their cycles synchronize the longer they work together?
